First, you need to collect Linode API credentials and then provide it to ECmanaged for integration.
Step 1: Getting Linode Credentials
You need to provide API key to add Linode as a cloud provider in ECmanaged. You have to go to My profile in Linode Manager to get the key which are listed in API Keys tab. You can’t see previously generated API Keys, it only can be obtained when generated, as shown in the image:
Step 2: Integrating Linode
First you need to login to the ECmanaged and go to the Add a Cloud Provider wizard either using the new server drop-down menu or using Preferences > My Cloud Providers. In the Add a Cloud provider wizard, you choose Public Cloud as Cloud Type and LINODE as Cloud Provider. Select region is set to Linode worldwide (all locations) by default. Then click Next.
In the next window, you need to choose a Provider Name, which is by default LINODE. You need to fill the API KEY.
Then you click Next. If everything is correct, ECmanaged will be connected to the Linode cloud. The figure below shows the output of a successful Linode provider addition.
Now you can start benefitting from a full management of your Linode Servers!
